This gives a good overview of dogs. I do find the symbols kind of confusing – if it’s shaded the dog is good with kids or not good with other dogs. But it didn’t very dark and so I think That part could be clearer imo. This is just really vague kind descriptions. they did a good job of covering lots of current breeds. I would still like a book that goes more in depth to the dogs behavior/ temperament . But that would need to be a huge book. I found some of these descriptions still a bit general. It’s a good intro to breeds but if you know what breed you’re leaning toward then maybe get a book just about that specific kind.
